Minky fabric is a super soft 100% Polyester Fabric. It is machine washable, does not shrink and can be tumble dried on a low heat. It has a pile almost like velour or velvet on one side, and as a knitted fabric, it does have some stretch.  Being a knitted fabric, you can cut minky fabric without any fear of it fraying or unravelling, although it can moult a little when first cut.

Minky is ideal for baby blankets, soft toys, bootees, clothes, bibs, and seat covers because it is so soft, warm, and easily laundered. It’s also perfect for household items like throws, pillows, blankets, and quilt backings. It can be used for warm clothing and accessories, like jackets, scarves, hats, gloves, and slippers.
